Hello!

My name is Rachel Zhuojun Huang. I am from Hunan, China.

I obtained my B.S. in Materials Science and Engineering from UC Berkeley, working with Prof. Phillip Messersmith.

After that, I worked at Apple Inc. Polymer Materials Product Design Team.

I obtained my Ph.D in Materials Science and Engineering at Stanford University, working with Prof. Zhenan Bao and Prof. Yi Cui. My research focuses on designing polymer materials for batteries.

Currently, I’m a postdoc fellow in Chemical Engineering at UT Austin, working on membrane and separation with Prof. Benny Freeman.

Other than being an researcher, I’m also a stand-up comedian.
